Welcome to Cubby’s,
I create and restore stained glass the right way — with respect for the original work and attention to detail that brings each piece back to life. From custom builds to full restorations and repairs, this is skilled, hands-on work done professionally.
Restoration is my specialty. When I take on a piece, the goal isn’t just to fix it — it’s to return it to what it was meant to be.
Alongside stained glass, I build Authentic Southern Glass Bottle Trees — each one hand-welded from heavy steel, not spot-welded, and built to last. These are not mass-produced decorations. They are solid, balanced yard art made one at a time.
Bottle trees have a long Southern tradition. The colored bottles are said to attract and trap negative spirits, which are then destroyed by the morning sun. Whether you believe the folklore or just appreciate the look, they’ve become a striking and meaningful form of outdoor yard art.
I ship bottle trees nationwide, and if you’re in Florida, you’re welcome to visit and see them in person.
All orders are typically shipped within four business days using USPS Ground Advantage. Each order includes a small handcrafted blue glass bottle — made here in the studio — for use as a window hanger.
I also offer stained glass classes in a working studio environment. Classes are small, hands-on, and focused on real skill-building. Students create everything from simple suncatchers to full window panels. Space is limited and classes are often full.
This is a working studio, not a tourist shop. You won’t find walls full of mass-produced items. That said, there are always a few pieces available for purchase, along with Bottle Trees on site at in-studio pricing. If you’re looking for a particular tree that you might’ve seen on my website, please make arrangements with me prior to visiting. I will then weld you up one with no obligation to purchase. Bottle trees are less expensive here because there is no shipping involved.
If you plan to visit, it’s best to call ahead.
The gates are normally closed, but with a simple phone call or text I can open up the gate for you.
